**About The Role**

We are looking for a Principal/Senior Consultant to join our team of Environment specialists, responsible for managing and advising on a wide range of projects focussed on the restoration of the marine environment and ecosystem services.

**About You**

You are a highly organised, collaborative and self-motivated individual, with excellent report writing and engaging presentation skills. You will have a strong commitment to sustainable development in the marine environment and to marine conservation and restoration.

Depending on your background, you have skills and experience in:

- Project management
- Nature Based Solutions, including habitat or species restoration in the marine environment either from policy or practice perspective
- Natural capital assessments and ecosystem services
- Marine legislation, policy and planning
- Preparation and coordination of the proposal/tendering process
- Business development

You will also have:

- A degree or postgraduate degree in a marine environmental discipline
- At least five years’ relevant experience in a consultancy or regulatory background
- Experience in staff mentoring and development

**Location**
Our offices are based at Town Quay in Southampton, with fantastic views overlooking Southampton Water.

We recognise it is not always convenient to work from a central office every weekday, which is why we provide flexible and hybrid working options. However, there will be a requirement to come to our offices regularly, and to visit client sites.
