Trainee Apt

We are looking for enthusiastic, and dynamic people to join our friendly Pathology team as a Trainee Anatomical Pathology Technologist.

You will assist and participate in all aspects of work in the Broomfield Mortuary and Viewing Suite as a trainee shadowing qualified members of staff. You will work closely with the Mortuary team in the day-to-day running and planning of the mortuary service in the South East Essex area. To facilitate the post mortems for consultant pathologists, forensic pathologists and coroner's officers.

Support the medical staff, nursing staff, other hospital staff, and funeral directors.

Assist the bereavement team supporting directly with emotional bereaved families and friends providing comfort and relevant information if required.

Undertake an academic training program to become a qualified technician, training by external providers and in house members of staff.
