**This job is for MONDAY TO FRIDAY 7.30am to 1630pm.**

**This role is to oversee our guards at Northwick Park Hospital. You will need to be assertive, calm in difficult situations and have the ability to communicate clearly.**

We need someone who can be flexible with the ability to communicate clearly. You will be reporting to our management team. The job involves the allocation of security personnel, liaising with the client, ensuring the operation runs smoothly. You will need to be pro-active and dynamic. We are looking for someone who has previous supervisory experience. You will also need to have I.T. skills for the login/logout system.

**SCOPE OF POSITION**: The Security Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the activities of the security shift which provides safety and protects the public, patients and employees. Supervise programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries. Review staffing levels to maintain full coverage of posts. Delegate authority and assign responsibilities. Investigate incidents and/or customer complaints and compile data for accurate reporting. Report daily to our client. You may at times need to cover shifts.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**: The following are examples only and are not intended to be all inclusive or restrictive; other duties may be assigned as necessary. Assists in the supervision of Security Officers on assigned shift - Responsible for the proper execution of assigned duties - Trains new officers - Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies - Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Maintains regular, consistent attendance record. Knowledgeable of and adhere to all rules and regulations, policies, and orders.
