**Learning Support Assistant with CELTA Qualification**
Looking for a fulfilling and rewarding career opportunity that enables you to help others reach their full potential? A college in Waltham Forest is currently seeking a Learning Support Assistant with a CELTA qualification to join their team and support learners in ESOL.
**Job Details**:
- As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing additional assistance to students who require extra support with their learning.
- With your CELTA qualification, you will be equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively support learners in their journey to improve their English language proficiency.
- You will deliver small group / 1:1 support to learners on ESOL, English, maths, vocational or study skills.
- This role is timetabled at 25 hours a week.
- Start date will be from Tuesday 18th April 2023 following enhanced clearance checks.
- Responsibilities for this role include working closely with ESOL teachers to deliver tailored support to students, providing one-to-one or group assistance as needed, monitoring student progress, and providing feedback to teachers and other members of staff.
- A CELTA qualification is required, as is previous experience working with ESOL students in a similar capacity.
