**The Role**
- To lead customer facing sales promotions
- Propose and develop the strategy, tactics and products required in support of PoC clinical markets.
- Ensure growth in total revenue and margins ahead of targets.
- To develop and achieve substantial and sustainable year on year growth of the Mast PoC offering
- To generate profitable revenue for Mast Group Ltd in line with the objectives and stagey in place
- To develop close collaboration with product market sales, R & D and Operations to maximise deliverables for Mast Group Ltd.
- To ensure Market Penetration is constantly expanding relative to the competitive landscape whilst protecting profitability.
- To define the UK and Ireland total and addressable value of the market and support intercompany PoC specialist team to do likewise.
- To build technical and marketing knowledge and expertise regarding clinical PoC products and be a key point of contact for internal and external parties.
- To be involved in the Group commercial strategy for the Clinical PoC products.
- To define articulate and update a rolling 3-5 year product roadmap for UK.
- To support Sales team with, and present, value propositions to prospects and customers.
- Through an extensive visit programme, collaborate with account managers, product specialists and their customers.
- Understand requirements and form relationships with KOL, decision makers and early adopters to execute on the market opportunities and future product offerings needed in the PoC market.
- To be responsible for the contribution of market data and marketing / management.
- Communicate any significant changes or developments in a proactive and timely manner.
- Ensure that the sales team and Marketing are kept informed of business requirements and any significant developments within accounts, ensuring involvement at crucial times.
- Work closely with Marketing to analyse strengths and vulnerabilities of major competitors.
- Develop sales strategies to respond effectively and to develop competitive differentiation.
- Build strong collaborative working relationships with the Sales team and help develop the PoC customer base, supporting the intercompany PoC specialists in their markets for these product offerings.
- Work with the Sales and Marketing Director, Marketing and R & D within the group, as well as potential customers and end to end users. Working at a detailed level in terms of market acceptability of new products and concepts, including presentation and packaging to ensure market potential is defined prior to commencement and development.
- Responsible for PoC sales, participating in revenue forecasting and reporting.
- To ensure monthly and as required submission of business reports, fully utilising and updating the CRM.
- In addition to the specified duties an employee is expected to perform additional tasks when reasonably called upon to do so.

**The person**
- Qualified BSc in BMS or Molecular Biology essential
- Effective communicator both written and verbally
- Team player with ability to build strong effective working relationships
- Ability to work to tight dead line and prioritise workload
- Ability to effectively network across a broad range of people and organisational levels
- Flexibility in terms of travel to various locations as the role dictates both UK and internationally
- Flexible approach to working hours to meet role requirements
