**Job Description**:

- The Finance function enables Anglo American to achieve its strategic ambitions by driving optimal decision making and performance management whilst maintaining the highest standards of control and compliance, providing a work place of the future to develop and retain talent.

Anglo American Finance is currently undergoing a transformation, driving a global functional agenda that will deliver improved commercial support for the business and global processes that balance risk mitigation with efficiency and effectiveness.

This role will To lead the development and expansion of the Blackline Tool across Anglo American, that delivers on our ambitions for process and controls excellence.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Drive the agenda for the further development of Blackline as a strategic asset for Anglo American Finance with specific focus on:

- adoption and refinement of current modules deployed
- further development for the automation of controls
- design and deployment leadership for future modules
- Critical to this role is the delivery of further automation within our Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (“ICFR”) in 2023, as such close coordination with the ICFR Team is key success factor
- Promote changes to these processes with key stakeholders to maximise the effectiveness of Blackline. The ability to influence Senior Stakeholder is key to success.
- Build and develop a team of Blackline Subject Matter Expert’s to support the deployment of the tool across the organisation. In doing so, leveraging the skills and capabilities of our Shared Service Centres
- Drive the integration of Blackline with other associated business improvement strategies led by Group Finance
- Coordinate initiatives with the Programme and Design Council
- Identify and drive capability and organisational changes required to deliver the outcomes using Anglo Operating Model and AA Organisation Model principles
- Qualifications
- Experience of managing or implementing Blackline modules
- Ability to upskill stakeholder groups and drive adoption of Blackline
- Senior architect level expertise and experience in implementation projects
- Extensive years experience in design, configurations and build of Blackline
- Understanding & experience in leveraging data from multiple platforms
