Are you looking to join a brand new team, who are building a brand new cloud platform from scratch to offer a new layer of products to their clientele?
WeDo are partnered with a global leading organisation who provide intelligent solutions. They’re now embarking on a new mission... to offer cloud services and need you to support the build. You’ll be part of an already built out Cloud Engineering team, currentlymade up of: Developers, DevOps Engineers and QA’s who are already designing their POC’s and CI/CD pipelines. Where you’ll come into play is supporting leading the build of their Automation framework across both the back and front end. What you'll gain, they'llpay to get you certified with AWS enhancing your skillset
You'll also be:
- Analysing testing requirements for automation
- working closely with the Lead QA to define which tools are needed and assisting with POC’s, specifically for Performance Testing.
- Writing and implementing test cases using BDD and/ or TDD tools and practices
- Building, developing and maintaining automation test scripts (API, Mobile, Integration, Regression, Front-end and Component)
Experience needed:
- Strong automation experience is essential building frameworks from scratch across API and UI.
- Understanding of Automation principles and being able to coach manual testers and developers around these principles
- Prior experience with BDD and TDD is non-negotiable
- Experience with automation tools including: Selenium, Java, Cucumber, TestNG, Jira
- Experience writing test scripts in Java and/or C#
- Experience automating API’s with RestAssured or RestSharp is key
- Any experience or knowledge of JavaScript or Typescript with Protractor is key
- Prior experience with AWS is highly desirable
- Agile experience is essential
- Excellent communication skills
This is a hybrid role with 1 or 2 days per month expected in the office (near Milton Keynes) - flexibility around this is granted
