We are looking for a Room Leader to join the ECCC family and lead the team in one of our baby rooms.

We have two baby rooms, supporting babies from 6 months to 2 years. Bumblebees, our smaller room, has up to 9 babies at a time; and Butterflies, our larger room, up to 12. Each room has access to their own outdoor space and a community allotment plot.

We keep the interests of the children at everything we do, tailoring our approach to their individual needs. Room Leader responsibilities:

- Work as a member of the senior team to develop the Centre’s policy and practice.
- Lead and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and provide a nurturing learning environment for the youngest members of our community.
- Reflect on practice to continually provide the best opportunities for children.
- Line manage and mentor members of the team, conducting supportive supervisions and striving for their growth and professional development.
- Resource the room to an agreed budget, holding sustainability in mind.

- Our Centre was established in 1985 and moved to its current location in 1999.

- We comprise of Bumblebees and Butterflies (6mths-2yrs), Sunshine (2-3 yr olds) and Rainbow (Preschool).

**Minimum requirements**:

- Approved Level 3 EY Qualification or above
- At least two years’ UK Early Years experience
- At least one years' experience of leading an area of practice

**Salary**: £23,322.00-£25,350.00 per year
