**PARTS ADVISOR - MALLUSK**

Our client is one of the leading dealerships within Northern Ireland; due to continued growth within the industry they now wish to build on their impressive staff by recruiting a professional, experienced Parts Advisor with a proven background in the automotive industry to join their team based in Mallusk.

You will need excellent customer service skills as you will be working with customers both face to face and over the telephone in addition to providing an efficient parts supply to our client’s workshop. Being organised and able to work under pressure, whilst maintaining good attention to detail are also pre-requisites for this role.

**Responsibilities**
- Proactive selling and upselling of parts to existing and new customers, relationship building with customers.
- Maintaining an efficient stock control system
- Goods inward stock handling, ensuring that all goods are received and checked and stored accurately.
- Parts picking from stores.
- Conducting stock inventory management
- All administrative duties associated with parts ordering and returns.
- Managing parts warranty and return claims within the desired time frames.
- Ensuring that the Parts Department runs as efficiently as possible.
- Ensuring that customer demands are met, and that the correct solution is supplied.
- Ad hoc duties commensurate with the position

**The Person**

As a Parts Advisor, you must be a confident and motivated person who is good at interacting with people and who can represent the company in a professional way.
- Relevant parts experience within motor factors or commercial vehicle industry - working within a franchised dealership parts department would be highly desirable.
- A reasonable level of computer literacy would be advantageous, along with previous experience of using stock control systems.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both internally and externally, in a professional manner
- Being accountable
- A full driving license.

**Desirable**
- Experience of using Kerridge/ CDK or a dealer management system

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
