Simply Cartons is a specialist designer and manufacturer of folded cartons, providing bespoke solutions to a wide range of market sectors. Due to continued success, we are looking to expand our team. This is a great opportunity to join a skilled team who have achieved BRC AA grade certification.
We have an opportunity for a highly motivated **Health & Safety Coordinator** to work across three sites. This role involves developing and implementing strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the well-being of our employees, visitors, customers, and environment while maintaining efficient and effective operations.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Provide guidance and support to the business in all areas of health, safety & Environmental.
- Proposing necessary changes to working practices.
- Administration of company training records and arrangement of training prior to expiry.
- Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive safety management system.
- Lead the business’ safety program.
- Ensure incidents are reported, investigated and preventive measures implemented.
- Be actively involved in continuous improvement throughout the business.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Develop and maintain environmental management including monitoring and reporting environmental performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Oversee the pre-planned maintenance schedule at all sites.
- Completing inspections and audits.
- Completing method statements and risk assessments
- Promote health and safety within the workplace.
37.5 hours per week
Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm (inclusive of a 30-minute unpaid break)
35 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays.
Salary - dependent on experience.
