Common Thread are looking to recruit an experienced Finance Assistant to join the Finance team at our Head Office based in Lockerbie.

**Responsibilities and duties to include**:

- Payroll processing, allocation and reporting
- Management of Company payroll information
- Administration of pension scheme and contributions
- Maintenance of purchase ledger account and reconciliations including data entry, payments and supplier queries
- Management and reconciliation of Company bank accounts
- Maintain the sales ledger account including the raising of sales invoices and credit notes, reconciliation of customer accounts and remittances
- Assist in the preparation of 4 weekly management Information and annual financial statements
- Carry out internal audits of financial procedures within the organisation
- Any other associated duties as required by the department

**Qualifications and Skills**:
Experience of Sage 50 accounting software

Experience of Rota Pro/Rota One payroll software

Working knowledge of pension management and auto enrolment

Accuracy, attention to detail and excellent numeracy skills

Able to build and maintain effective internal and external relationships

Excellent communication skills

Adhere to and embrace the Companies values and behaviours

They must also have a willingness to adapt and respond to the changing and varied needs of the business.

An understanding of Residential Care Services would be advantageous but not essential.

Hours: Full time 9am-5pm Monday-Friday (flexible/part-time hours would be considered)
