A leading Independent IT Infrastructure and Services Consultancy are looking for a Technical Consultant for a 3-month contract initially, based in Hatfield (hybrid/remote), Outside IR35

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Citrix SME (Exposure/Knowledge)
CyberArk (Exposure/Knowledge)
Cloud-based infrastructure experience beneficial
HP Wintel Hardware (DL360/380) Technologies
Windows Server 2012, 2016 and 2019 implementation and security hardening experience
VMWare 6.x and above Skills/Knowledge
LAN/WAN technologies
Firewalls - knowledge of firewalls and how they work, providing sufficient know-how to articulate requirements to the firewall SMEs.
IP routing and NAT
Load Balancing Technologies - Understanding and exposure of the workings/principals of a load balancer (F5/JetNEXUS/Edge NEXUS/Brocade/NetScaler etc)
Best practice Project management principles
Customer Communications/Presentation Skills
Document Writing Skills (Standards and Proposals)

The consultant will have extensive experience servicing large corporate infrastructure which should encompass Virtualisation & Privileged Access Management technologies, have had extensive exposure to current Server Virtualisation technologies ProvisioningServices, Microsoft Remote Desktop Services, etc. Also fluent in Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows Server, Windows Desktop, PowerShell and supporting technologies such as VMware vSphere, exposure to Privileged AccessManagement, Server Virtualisation management toolsets, Network Connectivity design principles (not implementation) including but not limited to:
Auto-It / PowerShell /PACLI/ script creation and maintenance for automating tasks
Extensive understanding of network connectivity principles and assist with troubleshooting
Preparing Virtual Machines
Perform and coordinate installation of software & hardware
VMware task management, PowerCLI
Logon Script, Group Policy Maintenance using standard toolsets.
Attending customer meetings and communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Recent Citrix v.7.x and PVS provisioning (build and implementation) experience
Gathering and analysing data to recommend a technical solution
Solid experience in the implementation of technical solutions
Certification requirements beneficial
Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops certification
Any CyberArk technical certification
Windows server certifications (2012, 2016, 2019)
VMWARE v6.x and above certification
Project management certifications
