Packer Days

Our client, a growing on-line business, urgently requires Order Packers / Processors to work at its warehouse on the outskirts of Gloucester. Due to the location of the business, you will need your own transport. The role may become permanent following a successful trial period.

**The Role**:

- The purpose of the role is to work efficiently, accurately and at the required pace:

- Collate orders from daily running sheets/schedule
- Check accuracy of orders against packing slips
- Pack orders appropriately ready for despatch
- Affix labels to packaging to ensure they are legible
- Transfer completed orders to packing department supervisor for final checks and despatch
- Load pallets / cages with orders ready for collection by couriers
- As and when required, to pick orders from warehouse
- Ensure all working areas are clear of obstructions, excess packaging is placed in the correct recycling bins and maintain a tidy work area.

**Working Hours & Rates of Pay**:

- Monday to Friday 08.00 - 17.00
- £10.50 per hour: Once training has been completed
- £10.42 per hour: Over 23 years old
- £10.18 per hour: 21 - 22 years old
- £7.42 per hour: 18 - 20 years old
