The Trade Counter Supervisor role provides a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success as the business continues an exciting growth plan. The main focus of the role is to provide excellent customer service to clients both face to face and over the phone. You should have good communication skills and be happy to be in a hands-on role.

A background in the hire sector would be advantageous although not necessary, experience within a sales development environment role is essential.

**Main Responsibilities**

Answering & actioning inbound calls from both potential and existing customers

Record and report new business leads to the pro-active sales team

Varied role due to working in a small team, including loading & unloading FTH & customer vehicles, and carrying out occasional deliveries & collections as required to FTH customers, suppliers & other FTH depots as required

Manage Cash Hires, reporting on late cash returns and overdue contracts

Raise and handling breakdowns, exchanges and stock transfers as required

Monitor and maintain sale and hire stock levels including carrying out regular stock takes

Branch key holder, responsible for ensuring the yard and premises are locked and secured end of play each working day

Other duties as required.

Effective organisational and communication skills

An understanding of targets and ability to achieve

High level of integrity, honesty and trust as will be handling payments and be a keyholder

Interpersonal skills - speaks clearly and with conviction, able to resolve customer queries and complaints

Competent levels of IT understanding

Proven experience in selling products & services to end user

Ability to work effectively under pressure

**Salary**: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Supplemental pay types:

- Loyalty bonus
- Quarterly bonus

- Guildford: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
