As a Senior Beauty & Grooming Tester you will work closely with the Beauty & Grooming Testing Manager, Accreditation and the Content Team to test products across skincare, haircare and beauty electricals for editorial and commercial purposes. You will also carry out research into products on the marketplace and consumer trends, when required. You will assist in driving the Beauty and Grooming testing strategy across Hearst’s editorial and commercial platforms to maximise the reach and potential of our reviews.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
- Supporting and, at times, deputising for the Beauty and Grooming Testing Manager.
- Organising and running lab tests with relevant testing equipment and consumers across editorial and commercial projects.
- Assist in building new revenue streams and ensuring all projects are completed to a high level of professionalism.
- Support more junior members of the Beauty and Grooming team.
- Be involved in high profile commercial projects and delivering results to key stakeholders.
- Occasional PR spokesperson on behalf of the category for TV and/or radio interviews.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Cosmetic Science related degree or qualification. This could also be a Diploma in Cosmetic Science or a relevant science degree such as Chemistry or Pharmaceutical science, though a degree in Cosmetic Science is preferred.
- Previous experience of working for in the beauty and cosmetics industry with a passion for the beauty and grooming industry.
- Willingness to be hands-on with beauty tests.
- Honesty and objectivity when it comes to giving an opinion.
- A communicative personality to build great relationships with your panel.
- Demonstrable experience in leading projects.
- Eagerness to try new and inventive products.
- Problem solving skills.
- Ability to deal with high volumes of work accurately and to deadline.
- Must have a can-do attitude with ability to work under pressure, be enthusiastic and proactive.
- Some experience of working within a practical testing environment either during university, working for a manufacturer, supplier or retailer

**Salary**: £29,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
