CCS is on an exciting digital transformation journey. We are reviewing our entire business and delivering new and improved digital technologies to enhance the services we provide, the ways we work, and how we interact with our customers, suppliers and other stakeholders. Agile digital delivery is taking place across seven workstreams and the pace and scale of change is unprecedented

**Job description**:
**Key Accountabilities**:

- Inspire and motivate team to deliver quality outcomes
- Ensure that tools are fit for purpose and meet business requirements
- Address issues across IT operations
- Build and implement a standardised Acceptance into Service function aligned to Service Management structure
- Developing strategic and tactical engineering roadmaps for technologies and services within CCS, making sure that they are future-proofed and that the organisation derives maximum value from investment in technologies
- Responsible for supplier management and performance and SLA adherence of 3rd party partners/suppliers
- Owning operational relationships with suppliers, making sure services and products are delivered and aligned to industry best practice and regulatory and contractual requirements
- Working with technical architects to translate the architectural designs into operations and supports technical architects in operationalising the designs
- Lead and direct infrastructure specialists’ teams in building, managing, supporting and maintaining solutions according to departmental policy - Work closely with the Head of Architecture to ensure alignment to the CCS architecture roadmap
- Defining a standard approach to automation in support of DevSecOps
- Leading the design and specification of CCS systems according to business needs and architectural standards
- Collaborate with Cyber and Security Assurance to ensure that security, stability and capacity are embedded in the development and deployment of services

**Person specification**:

- An ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience, including presentations to user groups
- Experience of managing and supporting third party provided infrastructure, such as Azure, AWS and Cloud Foundry
- Working knowledge of developing, testing and integration using code repository and continuous integration tools
- Experience of leading service support and technical teams working in an agile environment
- Experience delivering services using a DevSecOps approach

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Experience working with Service Management Frameworks
- Experience of working with complex data schemas and APIs to integrate heterogeneous services, including SaaS products, and microservices.
- Experience managing multiple suppliers of IT Services
