**Salary: £30,000-£35,000 per annum**
**37.5 hours per week**
We are currently recruiting for an IT Coordinator, this role requires an individual with strong generalist ICT support and administration experience to assist in delivering exceptional levels of support to the Renewi business. Whilst some technical skills and experience are required, it is more important that you are passionate about providing support in a fast paced environment, are keen to learn new processes and technical skills, and be responsible for working on your own initiative.
The role will be based in Wakefield or another contract based in the North with a requirement to travel to support the business. We have contracts in East London, Rotherham, Derby, Wakefield, Cumbria and Argyll and Bute and this role would be supporting the more Northern locations.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Managing support calls, requests and 3rd party support providers
- Processing new employee onboarding requests and ensuring assets are available
- Ensuring Hardware and Mobile asset records are up to date
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders in an open and timely manner, providing all required information and support
- Project coordinate and manage small sized projects and reports periodically to the manager/client
- Act as second-line support to the regional IT contact persons and as a point of contact to the outsourcing partner for IT related matters
- Coordinate and support IT contact persons and regional controllers with regard to the charging of purchased IT resources and services. Identifies any administrative backlog in administrative handling and initiates actions to reduce costs
**Essential criteria for this role**:
- Previous experience in a similar customer focused IT role
- Ability and willingness to travel to different sites in the UK on a weekly basis
- Team player who can work independently
