Multitrades Recruitment is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking General Cleaner to join our team in a laboratory environment. As a General Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our laboratory facilities, ensuring they are safe and welcoming for our staff and visitors.

**Job Details**:

- Job Title: General Cleaner (Lab Environment)
- Location: Petersfield
- Salary: £10.42 per hour
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am-4 pm or 9 am-5 pm (Flexible)
- Weekly Pay
- Immediate start available

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Clean and maintain designated laboratory areas.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, paying close attention to equipment and instruments
- Empty bins and dispose of waste in a hygienic manner
- Restock and maintain supplies, such as protective gear, cleaning products, and disinfectants
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role in a laboratory or similar environment would be an advantage
- Good knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment suitable for a laboratory setting
- Ability to follow strict health and safety guidelines and protocols
- Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
- Protective footwear must be worn on sites
