**Responsibilites**

As part of the underwriting team, you will play an important role in identifying and writing profitable business to support the company in achieving its overall objectives. Key aspects of the role focus on anaylysing risk in insurance proposals, determining policy terms and calculating premiums.

**What you'll be doing**:
Assessing standard and non-standard underwriting information
Offer appropriate quotations and acceptance of risk
Review internal audits on accepted risks
Retention of existing broker base
Ensure all underwriting in conducted witing authority limits and trading standards are being met
Assist with collection of premiums

**Ideal Person**:

- Experience with Household Insurance
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to negotiate and influence effectively at all levels using a variety of media.
- Self-motivated with the ability to act on your own initiative.
