Reservations Agent

Easthampstead Park is a beautiful Victorian mansion set in the Berkshire countryside. It is surrounded by 60 acres of woodland, parkland and formal gardens, yet is only minutes from Wokingham and Bracknell.

We are looking for an experienced **Reservations Agent **to join our Team. As Reservations Agent you will be responsible for managing incoming calls for bookings or general enquiries and promoting the hotel’s facilities and services in a positive way, optimising every opportunity.

**Main Responsibilities**

The role will mainly include but will not be restricted to:

- Booking bedroom reservations onto Opera for leisure, corporate, wedding and private event guests
- Checking reservations have the correct information i.e. billing instructions, special requirements, no. of nights.
- Input reservations from third parties
- Monitor bedroom inventory and balance when necessary.
- Entering rooming lists for group bookings
- Food and Beverage reservations for individual guests
- Monitor sold out nights or constrained nights and highlight to Group RM
- Liaising with Chef and Front Office about special offers

**Skills/experience**
- Excellent maths and English
- Hotel / hospitality background
- Knowledge of Opera, preferred but not essential
- Microsoft office - word, excel, outlook etc.

- Excellent written and oral communication - must be confident and articulate
- Creative - originality and new ideas highly valued
- Eye for design with high attention to detail
- Well organised
- Very well presented in keeping with client expectations in a four star Hotel
