Butcher with good butchery knowledge and great knife skills is required for a company based in Liverpool, Merseyside, North West England.

**SALARY**: £20,500 per annum

**LOCATION**: Liverpool, Merseyside, North West England

**WORKING HOURS**: 5 Days per Week, Monday to Saturday

DUTIES

**Your duties as a Butcher include**:
Prepare and portion various cuts of meat, following established guidelines and specifications

Utilise proper butchery techniques to ensure precision and consistency in cutting, deboning, trimming, and grinding meats

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the work area, including proper handling and disposal of waste

Ensure quality control by inspecting meat products for freshness, texture, and appearance

Adhere to food safety regulations and best practices to maintain product integrity and safety

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience as a Butcher in a similar role, with a strong knowledge of different cuts of meat

Proficient knife skills and the ability to handle various butchery tools and equipment

Thorough understanding of food safety and sanitation practices, maintaining high standards

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with precision

Strong organisational and time management skills

Effective English communication and interpersonal abilities

Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required

Ability to work within a team

Well-presented and reliable

Passion for the industry

Be able to start early and work on Saturdays
