Responsibilities:

- Safely and efficiently load and unload materials onto trucks or other vehicles
- Operate forklifts or other heavy machinery to move materials as needed
- Ensure that all loaded materials are properly secured and balanced to prevent damage during transportation
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate loading schedules and prioritize tasks
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment

Must be reliable and physically fit

Have good customer service skills

Experience of the waste industry preferred

Qualifications:

- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor on a regular basis
- Mechanical knowledge and aptitude for operating machinery and equipment
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in loading and unloading processes
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required
