Family Liaison Officer

**Family Liaison Officer Required**

If you enjoy working with young people and their families to promote attendance, education and welfare, we want you to join our Pastoral Team.

We are looking for a **Family Liaison Officer** to join our pastoral team. Responsibilities will include building relationships with young people and their families, delivering outreach support by visiting the family home, identifying needs and recommending support to result in positive attitudes to learning and improved attendance at school.

Based at the Banovallum School in Horncastle, you will need to have a full, clean driving licence and your own transport to undertake outreach visits to families and schools within our Trust, for which mileage will be paid.

You will need GCSE English and Maths Grade C or equivalent, experience of dealing with vulnerable families and a sound knowledge of the legislative frameworks which impact upon attendance, suspensions and exclusions, SEND and safeguarding.

This is a permanent part time post, working 39 weeks and 37 hours per week.
