Set in Pembrokeshire’s beautiful Coastal National Park, Saundersfoot is becoming one of the most sort after locations in which to live and spend holiday time in Great Britain. The village has undergone an exciting transformation to its harbour facilities and central shopping area which now boasts many new retail outlets and cafes.

**The Hotel**

St Brides Spa Hotel is the first destination spa hotel in Wales. It sits in a commanding position on a clifftop with stunning views over the village, harbour, beach and coastline. The Hotel offers individually styled, luxurious bedrooms and contemporary restaurant, bar and conference facilities. The Spa and Hotel have won many awards over the years including the best hotel in Wales.

**The Spa**

The Marine Spa has a modern thermal suite containing a sauna, steam room, salt grotto, ice fountain, adventure shower and infinity edged pool. It also has five luxury treatment rooms including a double treatment room with full height windows that open to let in the sea air and sounds of the tide. It provides the perfect place to relax and indulge in soothing treatments.

**The Team**

The Spa has an established, highly trained team who understand the importance of delivering a relaxing, professional experience for guests and day spa visitors. Full training can be completed in-house with our qualified management training team and product companies. The team is comprised of our Spa Manager, Lead Therapist, Therapists, Junior Therapists, Receptionists and Assistants.

**The Spa Receptionist / Spa Assistant Role**

**The Main Responsibilities and Key Tasks**
- Always deliver excellent customer service
- Welcome guests entering and leaving the Spa
- Administer the appointments system including invoicing, cancellations and no-shows in line with company policy in a prompt and efficient manner
- To be punctual and maintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform policy
- Keep up to date with current treatments, promotions and pricing
- Maximise treatment and retail sales opportunities
- Fulfil all reasonable requests from guests to ensure their comfort, satisfaction and safety
- Report any maintenance issues immediately to Spa Manager or Duty Manager
- Maintain a personal knowledge by completing in-house and external training material when provided
- Complete all training to a proficient standard
- Always adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Carry out instructions when given by management
- To prioritize tasks in relevance of importance
- Complete all banking and till checks
- Assist in keeping Spa reception area clean, safe and tidy
- Conduct guest Spa journeys
- Maintain the presentation of the Spa
- Be support for evacuation, in cases of emergency, acting as first point of contact for guests and emergency services
