Trainee Machinist

We are looking to recruit an apprentice/ trainee engineer to join our successful and very busy family run engineering company. We provide general and precision machining services and light fabrications, including sheet metal work and welding.

We are looking for a hard-working, conscientious individual with a good attitude to learning. You will also need excellent mathematical and communication skills, have a practical and methodical approach and be capable of working to a high standard with exceptional attention to detail.

This is a physical job so a reasonable level of fitness will be required.

Hours are Monday to Thursday 07.30 to 4.00 and Friday 07.30 to 3.00.

Excellent position for someone with drive and ability, who can use their own initiative and be part of a team.

Previous experience is not necessary but may be an advantage.

**Salary**: £17,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
