Crew Member

_**We are recruiting 2x FT positions (40 hrs) and 4x PT (20-30 hrs) positions. **_

**Job Overview**:
Showbase is a rapidly expanding event production company, based near Tatton Park in Cheshire. We work with a number of exciting clients, at some of the region's most talked about festivals and events. We are recruiting to our Event Production team

We are looking for pro-active and positive individuals to join our installation crews, travelling the country to install a wide range of event gear.. from tipis and marquees to market stalls and exhibition equipment.

Our crews are tight-knit groups, who enjoy working as a team in beautiful outdoor locations across the summer. Many of our crew return each summer, as well as joining our winter crews.

**Duties**:

- Reporting to the Crew Leader, you will work in your crew to install marquees and temporary structures, as well as a range of other event equipment and furniture.
- You will also undertake equipment prep and turnaround, including stock maintenance and van/trailer loading.
- You may be required to drive vans to and from job sites, if you meet the company's driving criteria.

**Person Spec**
- Marquee installation can be physically demanding, so you need to have a good level of strength, and stamina to withstand a day's shift of physical activity.
- You will need to have a practical nature, to understand and carry out instructions from your Crew Leader.
- You will need to have good time management, and be able to work with your crew towards the strict deadlines of our event clients.
- Understanding of tools and previous use of tools is an advantage. but not a requirement. Full training will be provided on the job.
- Previous experience of marquee construction is an advantage, but not a requirement. Full training will be provided on the job.
- Will suit students ideally, as the contract often fits into summer breaks. We have many students come through our crews.

**It is a requirement of the job to have your own transport to WA14 as our base is not located on any public transport routes and you will need to report to base for each of your shifts**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
