Their dynamic and dedicated Post-Death Team is looking for a WTP Fee Earner to join their thriving practice in Ware. They pride themselves on fostering a collaborative environment, embracing technology, and delivering exceptional service to clients spanning diverse backgrounds.

** Qualifications and Skills**:

- Solicitor or GILEX/FILEX qualification
- NQ-3 years PQE
- STEP membership (or working towards it) is a plus, but not mandatory
- Excellent team player with a flexible and self-sufficient approach
- Strong IT literacy
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients of varying backgrounds
- Adaptable, motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work both in the office and remotely
- Eagerness to engage in networking and business development activities
- Awareness of cross-referral opportunities within the department and the wider firm

** Key Responsibilities**:
As a WTP Fee Earner in the Post-Death Team, you will play a pivotal role in the clients journey. Your responsibilities will include:

- Taking client instructions and preparing a range of Wills, LPAs, and general PoAs, from basic to complex
- Managing Probate and estate administration, from small estates to high-value, taxable estates
- Administering intestate estates and a solid understanding of intestacy rules and procedures
- Knowledge of trusts and their tax implications, both in Will creation and lifetime management
- Familiarity with Life Interest trusts and Discretionary trusts, including the ability to collapse Discretionary Trusts during estate administration when necessary
- Adeptness in addressing the unique needs of older clients and a basic understanding of Court of Protection and Deputyship work (with a focus on Post-Death matters)
