**About the role**

As a Team Leader, you will deliver the required production orders according to spec, in time and on cost and ensure the team works to standards (Safety, Quality, HMex, CL, CIL etc). You will be a role model on all expected behaviours related to manufacturing excellence and should provide clear direction, alignment and motivation to the team.

**What you will do**
- Always ensure the correct execution of both environment and housekeeping standards.
- Assures all quality checks should be done with integrity and in a timely manner using the correct product test criteria.
- Delegate all team members to their assigned operating positions and execute all operational tasks with excellence, adhering to all documented procedures
- Ensure that all centrelines for the line are recorded and actions are recorded against any items that are out of centreline.
- Maintaining continuous improvement tasks on the line
- Accomplish planned production and size changes following defined SOP.
- Ensure that all scheduled maintenance activities are completed either when planned or when unplanned downtime occurs
- Assure all Team Members follow all SOPs.
- Set direction, align and motivate members of the team to reach the assigned targets, tasks and responsibilities. Including all employee related processes (i.e. recruitment vacancies, performance management)
- Ensure a good Shift Handover process for each member of the team.
- Work to keep all individuals motivated within your team and develop them into a flexible, strong autonomous unit with the ability to cover all skills outages

**Who you are**
- High School diploma or equivalent with engineering background
- Experience within a similar role. FMCG background an advantage.
- Strong leadership skills
- Team player; able to train, motivate and develop team.
- Effective communication skills
- Problem-solver
- Proactive
