Warehouse Supervisor

Great opportunity for experienced Warehouse Supervisor, with proven supervisory experience who can train, coach and mentor new joiners and current team members, to join well established organisation delivering IT channel services globally.

As Warehouse Supervisor you will be expected to support the Warehouse Manager in ensuring the smooth operational running of their warehousing function, to include supervising Warehouse Operatives and ensuring that they carry out their roles efficiently.

In short, this is an SLA and KPI target driven role that requires you to lead, manage, supervise and ensure that client and customer SLA deadlines are met, and quality standards are maintained to ensure customer contractual service levels are met and that Health & Safety and other compliance operating processes are adhered to.

Duties as Warehouse Supervisor include:

- Maintaining and ensuring that the warehouse is suitably stocked at all times in terms of products, equipment and other associated items to support customer delivery and services, ie packing products etc
- Responsible for picking and packing stock for orders to SLA standards and expectations, booking and despatching computer parts.
- Maintaining stock accuracy via regular stock takes.
- Taking ownership of general cleanliness and tidiness of the warehouse areas to ensure Health & Safety and other compliance measures are met.
- Confidently use their bespoke process database, Morse.
- Communicating confidently, verbally, in writing, via Teams etc.
- Working towards ISO Quality measurements and demonstrate a “service excellence” ethos.
- Ensuring new joiners are onboarded, checking in to ensure that they are settled, and that optimum work performance is carried out by all team members.
- Carrying out appraisal discussions, managing and leading on return-to-work discussions following employee absences, and carrying out 6-month probationary reviews as part of the new joiner process
- Supporting recruitment processes and formal / informal performance management discussions as requested.
- Supporting the wellbeing and health and safety of self and team members at all times.
- Ensuring that all compliance measures are met.
- Monitoring, tracking, and recording employee performance against agreed targets, goals and measures.
- Providing constructive feedback to team members.
- Building strong relationships internally.The successful Warehouse Supervisor must be able to demonstrate effective supervisory skills at all times, be able to handle and manage challenging situations and conversations whilst also knowing when to seek guidance. Previous experience within a warehouse environment is essential as are strong IT and numeracy skills. A flexible approach and ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment a must. You must also be able to follow and implement Quality Management Systems e.g., IS 9000.

Hours of work 37.5 Monday to Friday between 6am and 7pm.

**Salary**: £21,000.00 per year
