Wrexham, United Kingdom Diverse Cymru Full time

We are looking to recruit a Mental Health Recovery Practitioner for our brand new National Lottery funded project, to provide direct support to Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic individuals, refugees and asylum seekers to help them make the transition from secondary care and sustain an independent life back in the community.

You'll be based working from home, but you'll also be working with people around North Wales. Specifically, you'll be providing support to people experiencing mental health difficulties, particularly with people accessing mental health services from ethnic minority communities, enabling them to sustain independent life in the community.

You must be able to establish a good understanding of ethnic minority communities as you’ll be working with and develop strong working relationships with a variety of partners and services.

You’ll be supporting individuals through a range of activities, on an on-site and peripatetic basis and enabling clients to exercise informed choices about their lives.

To find out more about the role and its requirements, please see the Job Description and Person Specification on our website.

**Why work at Diverse Cymru?**

At Diverse Cymru, our people are at the heart of everything we do. Whichever role you take up with us, you’ll be helping us to achieve a fairer, more equal Wales for all.

We’re committed to supporting you in your role and beyond. That’s why we offer a range of internal training programmes as well as external training and CPD opportunities. On top of annual appraisals, you’ll also have regular sessions with your line manager to ensure you have everything you need to succeed in your role.

We recognise the importance of a work-life balance, and that’s why we operate a flexitime system, offer a generous holiday entitlement and are open to flexible working arrangements.

These are just some of the reasons why we think you should work at Diverse Cymru. If this sounds like a good fit for you, please get in touch with us today.
