**Title - Branding Assistant**
**Location - GLASSTORM Contemporary Glass, Tain**
**Hours - Between Monday to Saturday**
**Wage - ** **£10+ per hour**

**General Job Description**

Enthusiasm and interest in arts and crafts is beneficial.

The role is to assist in the manufacture, processing and delivery of glass bottles. Pre-dominant duties include: engraving, decorating, painting, polishing, quality checking and administration. This is a permanent position

Basic computer skills and knowledge of Word and Excel is required. Additional knowledge of creative suites
- Photoshop, Illustrator and Adobe is preferred.

**General Studio Information**

Glasstorm was established in 2005 by partners Brodie Nairn and Nichola Burns, trading from studio, gallery and workshop premises in Tain, Ross-shire following some 10 years experience in Europe.

We operate as a commercial glass studio, undertaking bespoke commissions and producing one-off fine art pieces, alongside small-scale glass bottle production.

We have a increasing loyal customer base, due to our high quality of customer care, and is known as being innovative and creative.

Glasstorm is an energetic and diverse studio that has achieved national and international recognition.
We have a reputation in many specialised areas including bespoke trophies, glassworks for television shows, glass prototyping and the production and design of specialist bottles for the very top end drinks market.

**Main Duties (training will be provided)**
- Working With Glass Products
- Engraving
- Decorating and Painting
- Polishing and Quality Checking
- Packaging & Despatch
- Customer Service including answering phone, taking messages and dealing with general client enquiries
- Stock Management
- General Cleaning & office/gallery maintenance
- Re-searching and purchasing office & studio products
- Creating posters/stencils/ artwork using Photoshop & Illustrator (tuition given)

**Work Experience/Requirements**

Previous experience working with glass/craft & art field is not essential. Interest/experience in the arts and crafts is valued.

Current Driving License preferred.
