**Role Profile**:
As the People Coordinator, you will work as part of the People Team to support the People Strategy and deliver HR service excellence across the company.

You will support the core People function, providing exceptional administration and commercially focussed HR support to all employees, whilst driving best practice and ensuring compliance with all company policies and employment legislation. You will support employees through the full employee life cycle and act as the first point of contact for all HR advice and guidance to line managers and employees.

**Role Competencies**:

- CIPD L3 qualified or studying towards (or equivalent qualification).
- Previous HR Coordinator/ Assistant level experience (or equivalent role).
- Have an excellent understanding of relevant employment law legislation.
- Strong administration skills with exceptional attention to detail, data input, and ability to analyse information and maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Have excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent active listening and problem-solving skills.
- Experience of dealing with first-line employee relations case work.
- Ability to acknowledge and understand when to escalate matters to senior members of the People Team.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, able to manage a multitude of tasks at any one time and prioritise effectively.
- Proficient IT skills, working with the Microsoft Office platform.
- Flexibility to travel to other sites within the UK is essential.

**Key Role Responsibilities**:

- Provide effective first-line HR support to employees and line managers, guiding them on policies and procedures in a timely manner, keeping accurate records.
- Provide support to the Regional People Partnering Team, assisting with co-ordination of formal meetings (including diary management and room/ travel booking) and where necessary, support with notetaking in investigation, disciplinary, grievance, flexible working, and welfare meetings (co-ordinating Risk Assessments arising).
- Pro-active management of all family friendly processes including maternity, paternity, adoption, and parental leave requests, arranging Risk Assessments, and dealing with queries/issues arising.
- Work closely with the People Operations Administrator, providing advice and guidance to them on first-line HR queries, as required.
- Work with the People Operations Administrator to identify opportunities to automate administrative processes and new ways of working.
- Assist with salary and bonus review in conjunction with the People Director.
- Maintain electronic employee files and HR system, always maintaining confidentiality.
- Complete and create spreadsheets in relation to HR metrics and data, analysing various reports and business data to support proactive approaches.
- Contribute towards providing meaningful analytics to enable business improvement (e.g., absence data, sales data, headcount reports, starter, and leaver reports)
- Take accurate and detailed meeting notes and maintain paper trails of documentation to ensure performance, audit, and knowledge share is exceptional.
- Support the Regional People Partnering Team and People Director with a variety of initiatives and projects, as required.
