Evolve is recruiting for one of UKs leading manufacturers and distributors of herbal medicines, food supplements, and medical devices.
Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Warehouse Manager to lead and direct warehouse personnel and oversee day-to-day warehouse management processes to ensure effective goods-in, stock control, and dispatch activities.

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday (40 hours per week), based at head office in North Ayrshire.

**Ideal Requirement**
- Currently in a Warehouse Manager, Supervisor, or similar role, within manufacturing, production, or pharmaceuticals.
- Ideally some experience of GMP/GDP.
- Experience in management, development, and supervision of personnel.
- NVQ/SVQ in Warehouse, Storage & Logistics and/or Diploma in Warehouse & Inventory management is desirable.
- Forklift Licence - Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck licence.
- Working knowledge of performance metrics in a manufacturing / production environment is desirable.
- Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience of working with IMS.
- Self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic who has pride in performance and a sense of ownership to improve output and business efficiencies.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Actively support the Production Manager to maintain stock integrity and continuous warehouse improvement.
- Coordinate and monitor the receipt and ordering of raw materials and the dispatch of finished goods.
- Ensure effective lines of communication between all the Production & Q.C related departments to ensure priorities are met.
- Brief warehouse staff on a daily basis with requirements, targets and expectations.
- Liaise with courier, transport companies and suppliers on a regular basis.
- Manage inventory control and ensure stock control systems are up-to-date and accurate.
- Coordinate warehouse planning and scheduling to ensure stock availability.
- Manage warehouse facilities to ensure they are kept in a safe, clean, and ready state for the effective storage of goods and all warehouse equipment is serviced and calibrated where necessary.
- Work with Export/Production Planning to support requirements related to the import of raw materials and export of finished goods.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP and Health & Safety Procedures and assist with the write up or review of such procedures and their implementation.
- Organise training of warehouse staff and monitor their progress and performance.
- Prepare Batch Packaging Records and supply raw materials and packaging to match the production schedule.
- Produce reports for senior management on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
