**Build Assurance Manager**

**Scunthorpe - £38k to £42k + 10% bonus + health plan + vehicle**

RecruitME is currently recruiting for a street works / civils focused Build Assurance Manager to work in the Scunthorpe areas on an extensive new full fibre rollout.

This Build Assurance Manager will operate within our client’s growing Lincolnshire Network Delivery Team.

This full fibre business is investing in a new full fibre network across the East of England and East Midlands using next-generation technology to power its multi-gigabit fibre network, with global suppliers including Nokia, Linksys, Fujikura and Salesforce.

The Build Assurance Managers sit amongst experienced Fibre and Civil Engineering Specialists and work alongside the Project Manager to deal with all safety, quality and build related issues throughout the project lifecycle.

The Build Manager will be managing their latest build area and are therefore they are ideally looking for someone who based within a commutable distance from Scunthorpe.

**What you’ll be doing**

You will be responsible for a variety of tasks to support the delivery of a quality FTTH network - and you will be the point of contact for ensuring appropriate actions are taken with and by contractors whilst carrying out field-based activities.

The Build Assurance Manager will work with the local Project Manager with the delivery of the build programme whilst working alongside stakeholders to deliver the build on-time, safely and to standard.

**What we’re looking for**
- Good understanding of telecommunications and network builds
- Experience of delivery management and delivering to pre-defined project schedules
- The ability to challenge and ensure the best possible build quality, through 3rd-party contractors
- Subcontractor management/auditing in the field (both Civils and Fibre)
- Understanding and interpretation of risk assessments & method statements
- Have an awareness of Construction Design Management Regulations Qualifications
- NRSWA accreditation

**You will ideally have knowledge of the following qualifications, though full training will be given**:

- PIA SA002 Safety Underground,
- PIA SA001 Safety Overhead,
- S6 Duct Survey
- S5 Pole Survey
- Health & Safety Accreditation
- Asbestos awareness
- NRSWA
- CMSTS,
- Cable avoidance.
