**MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB**
To take the lead, from a systems perspective, in the rebuilding of the Children's side of Mosaic by replacing the Signs of Safety forms with locally designed forms and improving the existing workflows as part of the Children Social Care Improvement Programme.

The Mosaic Lead Systems Analyst will be part of the Children & Adults Systems Team and will work closely with the Senior Systems Administrator, the Children's Signs of Safety Practice Lead and Children Services to ensure the successful delivery of the re-configuredsystem that will significantly improve the efficiencies of staff recording on Mosaic.

The post holder will:

- Attend all scoping and discovery workshops to scope service requirements with a view to simplify forms and improve workflows on the Children's side of Mosaic by discussing, suggesting improvements, and documenting decisions, actions, and outcomes
- Learn local configuration and work smartly to ensure Question User Codes are retained where possible to reduce the impact to database reports
- Lead on the system configuration changes to the Children's side of Mosaic following the scoping and discovery workshops
- Allocate work to Systems Analysts dedicated to this project who are assisting with the configuration changes to the Children's side Mosaic
- Monitor work allocated to Systems Analysts to ensure deadlines are being met and the system configuration and User Acceptance Testing parts of the project remains on track
- Deliver the User Acceptance Testing sessions, along with the dedicated System Analysts, by demonstrating the Mosaic systems changes, assisting the service with system testing, and amending Mosaic, where necessary following the testing sessions
- Attend board meetings to provide regular updates on progression and risks
- To develop, manage and maintain a physical copy (pen-picture) of the system re-configuration
- Maintaining version control and documentation
- Ensure the permanent Systems Support Team are fully aware and trained on the system changes

**Qualifications**
- Essential _
- Good general level of education (Five GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English)
- Standard DBS check

**Experience**
- Essential _
- In-depth knowledge and experience of working on the configuration of Mosaic
- In-depth knowledge and experience with JavaScript

**Skills**
- Essential _
- Excellent ICT skills and in-depth knowledge of Mosaic
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management skills, working in a systematic and structured manner to meet deadlines
- Competent in written and spoken English
- Excellent problem solving
- Excellent organisation and planning
- IT literate: competent in the use of MS Office products
- Ability to use computerised systems with a high level of speed and accuracy
