Catering Assistant

**The Role**
We’re looking for a Catering Assistant join our friendly Retirement Living Team at St Crispin Retirement Village, in Duston, Northampton. This role is part time, working 18 hours per week on a rota basis:

- Week 1 - Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
- Week 2 - Monday, Thursday and Friday.

Shifts are typically between 11.30-14.00 but this may vary to meet events held on site.

St Crispin Village is one of our largest Retirement Villages where we typically cater for 45-50 meals each day. In this role you’ll support the restaurant service by providing a professional waitressing service, including:

- Table setting
- Taking orders and handling cash
- Serving meals and beverages
- Cleaning down tables ensuring standards of cleanliness are upheld and the restaurant area is presentable at all times
- Where required, supporting the Kitchen staff to prepare light meals, printing menu sheets and cleaning down.

We also offer a delivery service to our customers which means you may also be required to deliver meals to their onsite apartments too.
- Experience of waitressing or experience of working in a kitchen; And
- Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2.

We’ll provide you with on-the-job training for the rest
