- ADU/23/262989We are currently looking for a handyperson to work across our Care Home Division.

The division consists of 3 nursing homes, a residential care home and a bed based Reablement facility in the Halton borough.

You will be responsible for maintaining the general fabric mixtures and fittings of the building and grounds undertaking minor repairs, replacements etc. that do not require the service of an outside contractor.

Other responsibilities include undertaking scheduled checks of the various equipment and implement appropriate actions including cleaning where a problem has been identified

Key Duties
- Experienced at day to day maintenance
- Working with external contractors in escalating work
- Regularly check and clean as necessary such things as drains, gullies, grease traps, footpaths, litter bins, etc.
- Complete the required reports and documentation as laid down at the establishment.
- Regularly check and test, in conjunction with the Team Manager, fire alarms, emergency lights, etc.
