**This role involves travel, including possible overnight stays - Full UK Driving Licence required.**

My client is an industry leading, ECO conscious and well-established property development company that is looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Electrical Quality Control Inspector to join their existing Team.

As the Electrical Quality Inspector, you'll play a vital part in overseeing our electrical installations, guaranteeing they meet the highest standards as we continue to expand.

**As the Electrical Quality Control Inspector, your role will entail**:

- Conducting quality control inspections for various electrical installations, including:

- Air source heat pump circuits and controls
- Heating systems (combi, S-plan, and Y-plan)
- Solar PV system circuits
- Battery storage for solar PV systems
- Extractor fan installations
- Diagnosing and rectify faults using appropriate testing equipment.
- Ensuring electrical installations and certificates comply with Bs7671 standards and accurately record test results.
- Performing minor rectifications when necessary.

**Requirements**:
**As the Electrical Quality Control Inspector, you will also be expected to hold**:

- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
- NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical qualification (or equivalent).
- AM2 qualification.
- Test and Inspection 2391 certification (or equivalent).
- Knowledge of NICEIC certification (training provided if needed).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a qualified Approved Electrician.
- Willingness to travel and work away from home.

**Additionally, the below would also be highly desirable**:

- Experience or qualifications in wiring renewable technologies.
- Solar PV qualification.
- Energy storage system qualification.
