**Job Description**:
As a Content Strategy writer, you'll be responsible for developing, planning and implementing the B2B thought leadership content strategy to support Scottish Widows Workplace Pensions marketing and events objectives, and to manage content produced for the workplace business platform. Supported by Workplace Content Planning Manager.

Key Accountabilities:- Manage editorial calendar to ensure timely publication / production of all material- Self-produce or assign agreed content to writers/producers and manage through to delivery-
- Identify gaps in content, follow industry-related news, and recommend new topics- Coordinate with marketing and design teams to develop content and ensure presentation in an engaging manner

Skills & Experience we're looking for:
Essential- An experienced and creative financial services writer, preferably with workplace pensions experience- Excellent project management skills- A proven track record in B2B and multi-channel content delivery, in particular confident working with technical product information and distilling complex information into engaging content- Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate key messages to a diverse audience, including making an impact on senior leaders- Commercial awareness, able to understand the commercial outcomes sought by the business and understand how to translate this into compelling external content

Desirable- A background in journalism with a strong knowledge of financial services and the financial advice market, particularly workplace pensions

Location & Ways of Working:
Our team works out of our Edinburgh hub, therefore we'll need you to be based a commutable distance from this area. We work in a hybrid model, splitting your time between the office and working from home.
