Head Housekeeper

Live in or Daily Head Housekeeper required in Kintbury, Near Hungerford Berkshire 820526

**Essential Requirements - Experienced Head Housekeeper capable to lead a small team. Attention to detail with experience in the care of fine furniture, art work, fabrics and special finishes. If live in, a 2 bedroom cottage comes with the position and salary is £35K live in -£40K Live out gross per annum.**

This semi formal Estate requires a Head Housekeeper to join an established team.

Primary role is to ensure the property is maintained to a very high standard of cleanliness and that all staff are informed of tasks and order in which to complete them. You will liaise with the House manager to enable a smooth and efficient day to day running of the residence.

**Duties will include but not limited to**:
Servicing and cleaning of all rooms whilst the family are not in residence.

Laundry including washing and ironing, care of wardrobes and preparing dry cleaning lists.

Turning down beds, bed making and servicing of bathrooms.

Setting and laying of tables.

Driving errands as required.

**Daily working hours are 8am -to 4.30pm ( with half an hour for lunch) Monday to Friday.**

Location: Kintbury near Hungerford Berkshire

Minimum Experience: 3+ years working in a similar role

Any specific required training for the role: Experience as a Head Housekeeper is essential.

Days : Monday -Friday

Hours: 8am-4.30pm

Job Start Date: ASAP- although the family will wait for the right person.

Pay: £35K live in -£40K live out gross per annum
