**About Your Opportunity**:
The Pricing & Estimating Lead reports to Business Management and will be accountable for standing up a specialist function that will be key to helping Northrop Grumman UK achieve their growth aspirations, delivering financial and commercial acumen to ensure this is done in a value accretive manner.

The Pricing & Estimating Lead is a senior role in the Business Management team and will drive a collaborative culture that enhances the performance of the customer portfolio, along with improving employee engagement with a commitment to quality, compliance and internal control.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Stand up a Pricing & Estimating capability for NGUK, embedding within the operations of the organization and demonstrating the value brought from this specialism
- Ensure that proposals submitted meet NGUK requirements, including profitability and appropriate cash profiling
- Estimating labour costs as appropriate based on request for proposal (RFP) data submitted by prospective customers
- Calculating production costs using labour and material pricing schedules and historical data
- Participating as a member of the contract negotiating team in concert with the relevant OU Business Manager

**Your Experience**:

- Degree educated or equivalent qualification or level of experience in a business field (finance / business administration / legal etc)
- Demonstrable years of relevant working experience
- Experience with a contractor on UK Government contracts
- Experience of large Bid and Proposal efforts
- Working understanding of Scheduling, EVM and relevant tools
