The EcoMove store located in Bristol are looking for an experienced e-bike mechanic. This role will ensure customer e-bikes are maintained properly to run at peak performance.

This is a freelance basis collaboration / zero hours contract but could become a permanent full time job.

The position is available from the 1st of May.

**The position duties include**: Inspect and evaluate e-bikes for safety, functionality and cleanliness. Maintenance and repair of system assets and equipment, documenting activities in the software portal, rebalancing of the fleet, lifting and loading vehicles & other equipment, and responding to basic customer inquiries. Interact with current and potential customers in public. Maintain clean and organise tools and workspace. Additional duties may be assigned as available and needed.

**Requirements**:

- Mastery of basic to complex e-bikes repairs.
- Cytech e-bikeCertification will be highly regarded
- Prior experience working in a bike shop or customer-facing role.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to clearly communicate and consult with customers on service and repair related issues.
- Ability to assemble, disassemble, and identify different e-bike components and tools.
- Ability to prioritize and follow instructions from other staff.
- Mechanical and technical aptitude, ability to creatively and collaboratively solve
- Basic computer skills.
- Flexible availability on weekends.
- Strong communication skills, positive attitude.

- Mechanic: 3 years (required)
