Cooks X3 Posts

**The role**:
There are 3 posts available, one that is permanent working 24 hours a week and two posts that are variable permanent hours.

Padgate House is an Intermediate Care Facility, and we require people who are hard-working, organised and passionate about food and customer service with good interpersonal and communication skills.

**Applicants must possess the following skills**:
Food preparation and cooking, plating, presentation
- Kitchen maintenance and cleaning
- Maintaining and ordering stocks and supplies
- Menu Planning
- Follow Food Hygiene and Safety legalisation and guidelines

Experience of working in a care environment would be an advantage.

**Please note**:

- Although it is no longer mandatory for persons who work in Health and Social Care to have both Covid-19 Vaccinations. It is recognized that this is a matter of personal choice. However, in the interests of patient and personal safety that due consideration is given to either having the vaccinations or to maintaining the boosters.

DBS clearance is required.

The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
