Applications are invited for the post of Assistant/Associate Professor in Pain Medicine (Honorary Consultant), Department of Medicine.

This post offers unrivalled opportunity to undertake high quality research within an outstanding academic and clinical environment. Applicants should hold GMC specialist registration, or be eligible for entry on Register or within six months of receipt of certificate of completion of training at time of interview. Applicants should have completed a Royal College of Anaesthesists, UK approved advanced training in pain management fellowship or equivalent. Applicants should also hold clinical training and experience equivalent to that required for gaining UK certificate of completion of training in the relevant parent specialty, and training in Pain Medicine required to fulfil all aspects of the clinical role.

This is an integrated appointment between the University and Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and as such requires an Honorary Clinical Contract, which will be issued by Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. You should be aware that if your contract with the NHS Trust is terminated your employment with the University will be terminated, and vice versa.

You will require GMC registration, Licence to Practice and medical defence cover for the duration of your appointment.
