Head Chef

Delivering quality food at customer premises.
Your main will be to plan, prepare and serve a range of food to meet client requirements, ensuring a high quality service is delivered.
**You will also**:

- Plan menus, while working to budgets.
- Lead a team of catering staff; including training, developing and motivating them to deliver an excellent service to customers.
- Be responsible for continuously developing and improving food quality and hygiene standards.

**To succeed in this role you will need**:

- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within contract catering
- Flair and imagination as a chef with a passion for food
- Understanding of budget control
- Good team-working skills and a flexible approach to work
- Excellent client relationship and customer care skills
- Competence in Health & Safety and Food Safety
- Level 2 Certificate in Food Safety and Hygiene
- Diploma in Professional Cookery - minimum Level 2, e.g. C&G 706/2
- (Recognised HCIMA Qualification at Level 3 or above is preferred)
