We are looking for a **Product Owner **tojoin our growing R & D team.

**Why is this role important?**

You will responsible for collaborating with the development team to achieve product goals. Working closely with the Product Manager, Scrum Master, QA and other business stakeholders to acquire an in-depth understanding of customer and business needs and translating requirements to the development team. Of all roles, they have the most in-depth understanding of business rules and functional design.

In addition, you will play a generalist role, supporting the delivery of the Development Plan including management of implications for other development teams and/or business departments.

**How a day might look like for you**:

- Acquire a deep understanding of customer and business needs that drive requirements
- Work with the Product Manager and developers to model business processes, dependencies and user journeys
- Utilisation of customer centric development approaches including qualitative and quantitative analysis to build context, refine requirements and measure product outcomes
- Facilitate requirement and design discussions with other stakeholders including UX, Product, Architecture
- Write Epic descriptions and User Stories including clear acceptance criteria
- Assist with Backlog Grooming. Contribute to story refining, splitting, merging and removal
- Facilitate estimation sessions with Developers and QAs
- Participate in all Agile ceremonies for team
- Support developers with continual feedback of functionality as it is developed
- Perform acceptance and/or regression testing where required
- Identify/manage impediments, risks & issues. Take appropriate action to resolve or escalate. Perform defect triage and early diagnosis
- Support and contribute to a collaborative Scrum environment including values of courage, focus, commitment, respect, and openness
- Support management of releases including preparing reports and internal communications.
- Ensure compliance with Information Security and privacy policies and procedures.
- Support of releases including cross business execution, training and communications

**Salary**: £39,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
