An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated person to work within the Vascular Service in Glan Clwyd Hospital, as a Band 4 Therapy Assistant. This is a new permanent post working 37.5 hours per week.

This successful post holder will support the Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist to provide therapeutic intervention and enable safe and timely discharges from the vascular ward.

The posts will involve a wide range of duties including assisting therapy programmes with a holistic approach, facilitating daily rehabilitation.

Excellent communication skills are required. Computer proficiency is needed as documentation is electronic and equipment ordering is via an electronic system. There will also be various administration tasks involved on a day-to-day basis

This post will form an integral part of the team and essential to support the delivery of the Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy service provided to vascular patients.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
