Laboratory Analyst

My client is a well known and established pharmaceutical company based in Cork. They are looking for an experienced **Lab Analyst** to join their QC Department.

As **Lab Analyst**, you will be responsible for ensuring that licensed pharmaceutical products are tested in compliance with in-house developed methods. You will be involved in routine method development, validation, and routine testing fornewly launched products.

You will support in the monitoring of multiple global contract manufacturer sites, review product versus Supplier specification, analyse and trend data, perform lab investigations, generate metrics and prepare reports for the Quality department and managementand ensure product issues are escalated and resolved in a timely manner.

As **Lab Analyst**, your main responsibilities will be:

- Perform HPLC Method development for new product launches
- Writing protocols/reports to support method development/validation activities
- Perform method validations, or transfers of analytical methods, in accordance with applicable policies or guidelines
- Manage supplier performance with respect to sample shipments, sample preparation and supporting documentation
- Keep Quality Management and Quality team updated on issues and actions which impact the business

**Education & Experience**:

- Educated to degree level, ideally B.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry, Microbiology or other scientific discipline.
- 2+ years pharmaceutical experience in a progressive multinational organization. Post holder must have laboratory experience and/or manufacturing/technical experience.
