Fancy working somewhere a bit different this summer? We're looking for a friendly, energetic individual to be part of our small hard-working team at our family-run Glamping site just outside Ballater in Royal Deeside.

Howe of Torbegis looking for someone to help us out on Saturdays with our housekeeping and Pod changeovers, for our Summer season, May - September. Either just Saturdays, or Saturdays + 1 other shift per week (variable days) available.

Shifts are 10:30 am - 2 pm.

Our Housekeeping Assistants help to make sure everything is in tip top condition for both new arrivals and existing guests. We're looking for people who are organised and efficient, have a good eye for detail, are able to work independently and can use their initiative when required.

There is an element of outdoor work when going to and from the Glamping accommodation, for example when bringing up laundry or taking down fresh linen, so the ability to work in all weather & to lift & carry on uneven terrain is also essential. Hopefully there will be more nice weather than rain this summer though

Responsibilities include:
Stripping and cleaning Glamping accommodation

Cleaning outdoor areas and firebowls

Cleaning shared areas including our communal log cabin, tea shack & studio

Making up Glamping accommodation for guests due to arrive

Cleaning our small toilet and shower block (2 bathrooms) to a high standard

General pitching in and helping out with other tasks around the site as required.

Must be able to get to Howe of Torbeg for shifts (no public transport available).

A £5/week fuel stipend is paid in addition to the hourly rate.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 4-5 months
Part-time hours: 3.5-7 per week

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour

Disposable PPE provided. Housekeeping sheets & procedures have been udated.
Enhanced cleaning is in place. We’re using environmentally friendly biocidal cleaning products which are certified to EU standards EN1276, EN14476 and EN1650, with a PSLog6 kill

- Ballater, AB35 5XL: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
