Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team in Hawick. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children during their early developmental years.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide high-quality care and experiences for children aged 0-5 in a safe and supportive environment
- Plan, implement, and evaluate developmentally appropriate activities and programs
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's learning journey
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting playroom environment.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and licensing regulations.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience working with children or in childcare or early childhood education
- Passion for working with children and supporting their development
- Strong drive to create a positive impact on young lives
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant qualification in early childhood education for example HNC or SVQ3, or be willing to undertake training.
- Experience working in a nursery or preschool setting
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £20,820.00-£24,960.00 per year
